A Lakefield woman is Jackson County’s new 4-H program coordinator.
Jennifer Schoenfeld will assume the reins of Jackson County’s 4-H program on Jan. 4, 2010.
The announcement was made Thursday afternoon by Cynthia Celander, extension educator for 4-H youth development.
Schoenfeld replaces longtime coordinator Andrea Ruesch, who resigned this past fall.
Schoenfeld graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education. She had previously been a teacher at Mt. Lake and Round Lake-Brewster high schools. Most recently, she served as an agricultural instructor at Southwest Star Concept High School and as FFA assistant adviser at Mt. Lake High School.
