$50 comprehensive wellness screening will be held in the lobby of Spencer Hospital, Spencer, 1200 1st Ave. East, Spencer, Iowa. Participants need to make an appointment and fast for 12 hours before the test. Call for your appointment, 712-264-6380. The screening includes: over 30 lab blood screens, metabolism, metabolic rate, blood pressure and pulse check. The screening takes less than 15 minutes.

8th annual Youth in Harmony event will be held at the JCC Performing Arts Center in Jackson and is sponsored by the Windom Area Chordhustlers and chaired by Jay Imker from Lamberton. Participating schools include Adrian, Butterfield-Odin, Comfrey, JCC, Red Rock Central, Southwest Star, Springfield, Westbrook-Walnut Grove, Windom and Worthington. This day-long clinic for the area young men and women ends with a performance open to the public. The Vocality Men's Quartet from the Twin Cities, the Northern Lights Women's Quartet from the Iowa Great Lakes Area and the Chordhustlers will perform, along with performances by the high school students. Tickets are $5 at the door, no reservations needed.
