A Girl's Night Out: 50 Shades of Pink will take place Thursday, May 2, from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Jackson's EconoLodge. More than 25 exhibitors will be featured in addition to a style show, wine tasting, entertainment, food, and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will assist women in the area to receive free heart screenings. Matching funds will be provided by the Jackson Healthcare Foundation.

Items to be picked up at no extra charge include: furniture mattresses, carpet, household goods. Do you like mudpies? Or do you like crafting things to use in your garden? Then this is just the class for you - especially if you like to get messy! Hypertufa is a rock-like material that can be shaped into pots or sculpture. Its porous nature makes it ideal for potting up a variety of plants. Participants will learn how to mix the hypertufa ingredients and create their very own planters/pots. Each person will be able to make 2-3 planters to take home. All hypertufa ingredients provided however participants will be given a list upon registration of a few supplies that participants will need from home.
