Let them dance!

Nearly 2,000 spectators packed the Jackson County Central auditorium over the course of four shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday as Nita's School of Dance put on its annual spring recital, "Let Them Dance! 2008." Ten separate groups of dancers performed a total of 21 different dances in the shows, including tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical. Each of the four performances featured more than 100 dancers and six different groups of performers with the high school groups performing in each show and the other groups each dancing twice. Among those featured in this week's Jackson County Pilot is Alaina Wolff, pictured here as she completed the dance "Baby Face" with her classmates during Wednesday's dress rehearsal. See this week's Jackson County Pilot for more or check out the "Photo Reprint" link on this Web site to see copies of many more photos taken from the rehearsal.
