Voss, Farmer earn all-BSC honorsFree Access

Jackson County Central’s dynamic duo of senior Sadie Voss and junior Maci Farmer have both been named to the all-Big South Conference girls’ basketball team.

It’s the second straight season in which Voss has been a first-team player after earning honorable-mention status as a sophomore.

Farmer earns first-team recognition for the first time after being an honorable-mention pick last season.

Voss scored a school-record 707 points this season and finishes her career second on JCC’s scoring list with 1,889 points. Her 25.3 points-per-game average this year is the best in school history. Voss also averaged 5.5 points, 4.3 assists and 3.6 steals per game this season for the Huskies.

Farmer’s 570 points this season ranks second for a single season in school history, behind only Voss’ output this year. She averaged 20.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 3.1 assists per game this season.

Farmer topped the 1,000-point mark this season and is currently sixth in team history with 1,263 points.

The duo helped the Huskies go 17-11 on the season and 5-7 in the West Division of the BSC.
